Celebrate a Virtual Book Launch Party

I am pleased to announce that John Hope Bryant’s new book, Up from Nothing: The Untold Story of How We (All) Succeed, is launching October 6.

The book is his personal story of rising up from nothing to not only take hold of, but conquer the American Dream. He says: I believe the dream is still alive, and I believe we can take action to ensure each and every one of us has access to the opportunities available in what I consider to be the Land of Opportunity.

In celebration of the release of Up from Nothing, please join a special virtual launch party on October 6 at 12 PM (ET). The event is free to attend, but registration is required.

3 ways to celebrate Manufacturing Day 2020

Manufacturing Day is a chance to celebrate modern manufacturing and inspire the next generation.

Manufacturing Day occurs every year on the first Friday in October. This year we have fewer in-person events, and many virtual events. Here’s a few to check out:

A virtual tour of Win-Tech, an aerospace machine shop, providing custom machined parts for over 30 years. Small business, veteran-owned.

A virtual tour of Chart Industries, Inc., a leading independent global manufacturer of highly engineered equipment servicing multiple applications in the Energy and Industrial Gas markets.

In celebration of Manufacturing Day, Honda will host an online panel discussion featuring Honda associates from a variety of positions across the company.

Manufacturing Day is a chance to celebrate modern manufacturing and inspire the next generation.
