Who We Are

We are the Atlanta Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Advanced Manufacturing Center, a sister organization to the Atlanta MBDA Business Center.

The Atlanta MBDA Advanced Manufacturing Center was created via a grant the U.S. Department of Commerce MBDA awarded to Georgia Tech in 2016. One of four such centers across the country, The Atlanta MBDA Business Center will receive $1.25 million spread over a five-year period to operate the Center, which is charged with providing targeted assistance to MBE manufacturers. The funding is designed to help identify, screen, promote, and refer MBEs to specialized advanced manufacturing programs, and provide technical and business development services.

Our mission is to help MBEs experience significant growth, create and retain jobs, and become sustainable, thereby creating a positive economic impact on communities and the nation.

Although our clients are primarily MBEs generating $1 Million or more in annual revenue, we consider each potential client individually.

Helping your company secure working capital, bonding, equity investments, and debt financing.

Located in Atlanta and serving minority owned manufacturers around the country.

Facilitating one-on-one meetings with potential customers & partners.

We look forward to working with  you!

Through the Department of Commerce, MBDA, Georgia Tech, our strategic partners, and stakeholders, our MBEs have access to a nationwide community of experts and individuals engaged in technology, innovation, leading-edge manufacturing practices, and much more.
