About Us

The Atlanta MBDA Advanced Manufacturing Center bridges the gap between corporate supply chains and minority business enterprise (MBE) manufacturers. We offer advanced manufacturing expertise and a national network of resources. Our goal is to increase opportunities and profitability for our clients.

The Atlanta Center was established in 2016 and is funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce. MBDA is the only federal agency tasked with promoting the growth and competitiveness of minority-owned businesses.

We connect MBE Manufacturers with innovation and opportunities, through our monthly events  and our annual Summit.

Through the Department of Commerce, MBDA, Georgia Tech, our strategic partners, and our stakeholders, America’s MBEs have access to a nationwide community of experts and individuals engaged in technology, innovation, leading-edge business practices, investing capital, and much more.

Our goal is to build a national ecosystem of MBE manufacturers, partners, and stakeholders. The Atlanta MBDA Advanced Manufacturing Center creates expansion opportunities for MBE manufacturers by facilitating their growth through training and education, as well as advocating with corporate suppliers.
